Asean Community Plastic Exhibition (APLAS) is an future exhibition held by Plastic Industry Club, The Federation of Thai Industries. On the international scale, this exhibition will be a major events for plastic manufacturers in Asean Economic Community (AEC). It integrates plastic industry across the regions as well as promotes local plastic manufacturing in Thailand.
The idea of playing with triangle and/or circle was there at the beginning. Initially, the circle was there to present unity and collaboration across the regions. However, after a few meetings, it came to the conclusion that the triangle best represents community, sharing, as well as technological advancement. For this, I explored some other possibilities in shapes, forms, and colour choices that would best accommodate the identity.
This project won a logo design contest from Plastic Industry Club, The Federation of Thai Industries and will be officially used in the exhibition.
